My wife and I love coming here. Always an incredible view (inside and out) fantastic wine, and on this trip Cooper was our server. He was not only terrific helping us, but watching him with other tables showed great service. It's definitely a winery 🍷 you want to spend time at!! …
My husband and I visited Byrs on our Honeymoon trip to Traverse City. We had a wonderful time here. The Sangria and Frosé were our favorites. We also ordered the Charcuterie Board and it was delicious. Their wine truffles were yummy too. The property was gorgeous and loved the view of the lake. I enjoyed the deck outside, which is massive with plenty of seating. Can't wait to visit again!
I loveddd my experience at Brys Estate! We came here as a group of 6 on a Saturday afternoon because we wanted to try the wine flights. I appreciate that we could add a diverse array of wines and ciders to our flights. My favorite was the frozen rosé. Cooper was our server and he was very attentive and in general just a great person to be around. We ordered the charcuterie board and enjoyed it so much that we got a second one. The estate was beautiful, even with the crisp fall air. All in all I’d come here again in the warmer months for a vineyard tour.
They offer more than just wine. The gorgeous raised patio deck creates an atmosphere of relaxing, and enjoyment as you stare out into the acres of grapes and lakeside views. They serve charcuterie boards that were enough for 5 people to snack on. They also offer flights of 5 wines (you pick) and you are able to share your flight at no additional cost. They are $15 per person , and as always there are optional upgrades. They have a frozé type wine that is a great treat on a warm day. At the end of the property you can find a secret “you pick” lavender garden. It was a real treat to visit Brys Estate!
We did the five flight wine testing, with charcuterie board. The wind is fantastic here and the charcuterie board was a perfect complement to it. What a wonderful experience. We are leaving with two bottles of wine as well. You simply must stop here!
We were cycling around the penisula and stopped here for a break drink. We were welcomed and treated well despite our cycling attire. There was a great mix of people dressed nicely and more casually. Absolutely beautiful property and landscaping. Great service on the lawn with nice lawn chairs facing the gorgeous view. Very yummy frosé as well! We would love to come back on our next visit.
Make sure you have reservations if you want to sit on the patio. We did not and they have a great outdoor tasting area with picnic tables, small tables and adirandack chairs to sit and enjoy the beautiful views of the water! The wine was lovely!
We’ve visited Brys Winery twice now, last summer and this past weekend. I have to say, of all the wineries in this mission peninsula and the leelanau peninsula, and my wife and I have visited many, Brys is the best-top notch. Their wines are the best. I’m a big fan of Italian reds-Tuscan wines. I’ve never expected much from a midwestern red. I have to say their Cab-Merlot is quite good. Recommend you try. The deck at Brys is really a fantastic venue for a wine tasting.
